lancashire block paving driveway project 14

Meadow Drives and patios have been installing new driveways for our customers in Northwich for many years. A lot of our work comes from recommendations from previous customers that have had new driveways, patios and their garden landscaped.

We love taking on more work and transforming our customers gardens not only to be practical but to look stunning too.

We have just completed this new block paved driveway using a 45 degree herringbone pattern along with a charcoal coloured border.

So to start with, we had to dig up the old concrete driveway. All the concrete was removed and loaded onto out truck. We was then left with a blank canvas to work with. To make the base, we flattened down some hardcore leaving a flat surface. This was then covered with a sharp sand. Again this was levelled out. Drains were installed along with a new recess cover.

The block paving was then laid onto the base in the desires pattern. As you can see our customers asked for a diamond feature pattern in the middle of the driveway to make it more noticable. To the side of the house, there was a long pathway that went into the back garden. We were asked to cover this using the same block paving as the driveway. Once both were finished we brushed sand into any gaps that were left.

Our customers thought their new driveway and garden path looked amazing.
