Driveway & Rear Garden Block Paving – Burnley
A customer in Burnley, Lancashire who had a detached house recently contacted the team here at Meadow Drives and Patios to transform their outside space. The customer wanted to replace the old tired / uneven and worn concrete paving slabs with brand new block paving that would run from the front driveway area around the side and back of the house giving it an amazing look and joined up journey from the front to the rear of the property. The front and back of the detached property was showing signs of wear and was a trip hazard so we took no time in giving a competitive quote that was accepted allowing us to rapidly start this project. The brief was to create a brand new block paved driveway and block paved patio area and we certainly delivered as you can see from the amazing photos of this property once we completed it.
Firstly, the team spent some time ripping out the old surface, excavating the area and disposing of it in a safe, securel and enviormentally friendly manner. Next, they laid the sub layer, ready for the new block paving bricks to be laid. In this project, the customer opted for light grey bricks with a darker slate coloured strip the whole way around, followed by the even darker edging. This complemented the overall look perfectly and looked great with the grey front and back doors as well as their garage doors. The customer was delighted with the end result and was the envy of all of their neighbours.
