The original garden space featured a large, central rockery and pebble bed that divided the lawn and took up valuable usable space. The existing paving around the conservatory was functional but the homeowners wanted a more expansive, modern, and unified area for outdoor seating and entertaining.

The Transformation
Our team cleared the central rockery and excavated the area to extend the patio footprint outwards into the garden. To accommodate the slight slope and create a perfectly level seating area, we built a raised patio section with a neat, brick-style retaining border.
We installed high-quality, multi-tonal Indian Sandstone across the entire extended space. The varying tones of the sandstone bring warmth and character to the garden, completely brightening the back of the property. To finish the project, we meticulously pointed the slabs to prevent weed growth and laid fresh turf around the new raised borders to seamlessly blend the new patio into the existing lawn.
The Result
A stunning, low-maintenance outdoor living space. By removing the high-maintenance rockery, the garden now feels significantly larger and features a beautiful, clean, and practical Indian Sandstone patio perfect for summer dining.
