This week, our landscaping team completed another block paving driveway transformation in Burnley, Lancashire. The customer contacted our team here at Meadow Drives and Patios and asked us to remove their old driveway and replace it with a brand new block paving driveway.
Using a digger, we began by removing the lawn area as well as the old patio slabs and pathway areas. Our team then disposed of the soil and waste so the area was clear for the new surface. At this stage, drainage solutions were added in and set in concrete for protection.
Next, as with all of our block paved drives, we excavated the surface to the desired level before adding in the edge restraints. Our team then spread, levelled and compacted the sub base ready for the block paving surface. The edge courses were added in, before the chosen blocks were then added to the new driveway.
The end result was a fantastic block paving driveway on this semi-detached residential home in Burnley. The beautiful banding of colours of the block paving itself shows off the full range of hues to best effect. The customer was overjoyed with the results and everyone on the street was also really impressed!
