Lancashire Tarmac Driveway
A customer recently got in touch with the team here at Meadow Drives to transform their existing driveway space. The homeowner of the substantial detached property requested that our team dug up and replaced the hard standing drive with a new one which fitted with their personal preference and budget. With this in mind, our team got to look to create both a new tarmac drive, with block paving edging alongside a small grassed area which showcased new shrubs and greenery to complement the new outside space.
Our team wasted no time getting to work. They began by clearing away the old driveway using a digger alongside manpower, before removing the rubble and waste to ensure a safe work site. After laying the sub base, the team created a block paved edging to contain the tarmac area. As mentioned, as well as the driveway area, a separate section was created for the grass and shrubs by our experienced landscapers. Next, our team poured in the tarmac driveway surface into the designated area and used a heavy duty compactor and roller to ensure a smooth, even finish. The end result was exactly what the customer had envisaged and they were delighted with their new outside space.
