We recently completed this impressive driveway transformation in Blackburn, converting a simple and ageing tarmac driveway into a stunning block paved driveway with bespoke decorative features.
The original driveway consisted of a plain tarmac surface which, while functional, lacked character and visual appeal. The customer wanted something more attractive that would enhance the appearance of their property and create a real focal point at the front of the home.

Before
The property featured a simple tarmac driveway that had become tired and uninspiring over time. While it remained functional, the plain black surface offered little visual interest and did not maximise the property’s kerb appeal. Cracking around the drainage area and general wear had also begun to affect the overall appearance.
After
The old tarmac surface has been transformed into a beautiful block paved driveway featuring a striking charcoal and silver colour scheme. The decorative centrepiece, contrasting borders and bespoke entrance design create a truly unique finish that instantly catches the eye. The new driveway not only improves the appearance of the property but also provides a durable, practical and low-maintenance surface designed to stand the test of time.
After removing the existing surface and carrying out the necessary groundwork preparations, our team installed a brand-new block paved driveway using a stylish charcoal and silver colour combination. The design features a striking herringbone laying pattern throughout, complemented by contrasting border details and a decorative geometric centrepiece running through the middle of the driveway.
To further enhance the finished appearance, we incorporated a custom decorative feature across the entrance, creating an eye-catching design that immediately sets the property apart from neighbouring homes. New drainage was also installed to ensure effective surface water management and long-term performance.
The combination of the bold charcoal paving, contrasting silver borders and bespoke centre design has completely transformed the front of the property, delivering exceptional kerb appeal while providing a durable and practical surface for everyday use.
