Bolton Block Paving
Our team here at Meadow Drives and Patios recently completed a block paving driveway for a large detached property in Bolton. After the customer contacted our experienced team of landscapers and agreed their chosen driveway covering, we arrived on site to begin the work. The customer had discussed their desire to replace their existing tarmac driveway with a brand new block paving driveway.
Not only did the customer want the exterior of their home to look more sophisticated, they also wanted a more practical and functional driveway.
As with all of our projects, preparation was key. Firstly, our team had to completely clear the area, ready for installing the new block paving driveway. Next, they added in edge restraints to create a strong boundary, ready for the new surface. A sub-base was then added; the main supporting layer of stone, and then a layer of sand.
Finally, they added the chosen pavers to create the desired pattern before they brushed kiln-dried sand across the paving to create the end result. The customer was absolutely over the moon with their new driveway and it’s now the envy of the whole street!
