Large Front Block Paved Driveway
Here, our experienced team of landscapers completed another large block paved driveway in Lancashire. This extensive block paved driveway spanned along the front of a large detached property as well as the section leading up to the house from the road. It also included a sweeping section around a landscaped garden area which all joined up together for a seamless outside space.
After the customer made contact enquiring about our range of driveway options, they opted for a blocked paved driveway to replace their old driveway which was a combination of block paved areas and loose chippings.
After clearing away and excavating the old surface, our team added in a sub-base layer before we added the foundations and edge restraints in. This is an important stage, as with all sized driveways, as it gives integrity and helps to frame the driveway itself. Due to the size of this block paved driveway, it was imperative that this stage was carried out professionally by an experienced team such as ours. Next, a layer of sand was added, before we screeded the entire area to the correct level. We finished the large project by laying the block paving bricks to the customer’s chosen design before we filled the joins with sand for a fantastic final finish. The customer was absolutely overjoyed with the end result.
